Have you ever wanted to give a gift that was truly, deeply personal? Something that went beyond a photograph or a printed mug and captured the very essence of a person or a memory?
That question is at the heart of why YourStoryCast exists, and the idea for it was born from a moment just like that.
How It All Started
It all started, as many good ideas do, from a friendly argument at work. I have a colleague who is a true character—one of those people with a uniquely witty personality and a dry sense of humour that always has us laughing.
During one of these debates, I found myself noting down his funny quirks. That's when the idea struck: what if I could capture what makes him, him, in a totally new way? It would be hilarious to create a podcast episode all about him, a sort of 'friendly roast' or a 'This Is Your Life' segment that he could listen to.
As a tinkerer and tech enthusiast, my mind immediately went to work. I started building a process to weave his story together, experimenting with AI voices to create a warm, conversational format. After some tinkering, the first-ever YourStoryCast was ready.
The Lightbulb Moment
The first person I played it for was my wife. I wasn't sure what she'd think, but after listening, she laughed and said, "Wow, that sounds great, my friends would love this. This is a real business idea, you know?"

What started as a fun, personal project suddenly felt much bigger. I realized that everyone has these stories—the inside jokes with best friends, the cherished memories of how a couple met, the words of gratitude for a mentor, the hilarious family anecdotes. These are the moments that define our relationships, and they deserve to be celebrated in a way that's as unique as they are.
YourStoryCast Today
And so, YourStoryCast was born. Today, we create personalized podcast gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, and those "I-have-no-idea-what-to-get-them" moments. We've made medical podcasts for doctors, friend memory lane stories full of inside jokes, and heartfelt tributes for grandparents. We've immortalized circus proposals, parenting mishaps, and 33-year love stories.
